At approximately 3:15 this afternoon power was restored to Bald Hill above Fort Bragg by PGE and service should be back to normal for all coast subscribers at this time.

Service to a few subscribers on the Lake/Mendocino County line is currently down due to a failed radio.  There appears to be water in a cable or ethernet port.  I’ll get on-site to replace the failed equipment as soon as possible but it may be the end of the day or Friday AM before I can get there.

What appears to be a wide-spread power outage on the coast from Fort Bragg to some points North is interrupting service for subscribers on the coast as of around 5:30PM.  No ETR from PGE is available at this time.  Unfortunately our backup power supply at Bald Hill has not come online and will need to be diagnosed at a later date.
Service should be restored when power is restored.

A relay that serves some subscribers around the Hwy 101/Uva Drive intersection is having intermittent power problems of some sort.  I thought they were resolved but they continue again.
I am en route to re-diagnose and hopefully resolve the issue this AM.

The Moose Road relay on McNab Ranch that serves some subscribers is having lack of sun-related power issues as of about 12:30 this morning.  It is on my list for generator duty later today.

A splicing mistake by an ATT technician has taken our coastal network offline.  Estimated time to service restoration is 30 minutes.

This afternoon starting at around 1:30 I’ll be effecting permanent repairs for the equipment at McNab Ridge Winery that failed yesterday morning.  There will be approximately 15 minutes of service interruption for subscribers while I do this work.

A bit after 12:30 this morning our relay at McNab Ridge Winery went offline.  I’m currently investigating the cause of the outage and will be en route to the site later this AM.
I hope to have things resolved in the next few hours.

The many days without sun appear to have caused struggle for the temporarily solar-underpowered Moose Road relay that serves a handful of subscribers on McNab Ranch.  I imagine things will be resolved now that the sun is shining though and we’ll assess the power situation fully after the holiday.

The site that serves many on Greenfield Ranch that has been having electrical challenges is acting up again.  It has been eating batteries for breakfast due to some mysterious phantom load.
I’m en route to run a generator again.  It’s getting old, but I’ll get to the bottom of it.
