Access Point Down

An Access point on the Moose Road on McNab Ranch has gone down, we are assessing the problem. It looke like we will need to get out tomorrow morning ad find the problem.

Blue lakes Maintenance work

Tomorrow morning June 22 after 10 AM until 1PM, we will be working on the network. This will impact a very small portion subscribers on the south part of blue lakes and around mud lake.
The down time should only be for a few minutes while we change out some gear. There may be more than one instance of downtime.

overheated unit intermittent reboots

A network device that serves subscribers from our Valley View site on McNab Ranch is having issues in this heat. It is periodically rebooting itself. I am attempting to narrow down the offending unit and will be scheduling it’s replacement as soon as I can.

Upstream fiber provider troubles. Again. – Resolved

The trouble facing our upstream fiber provider appears to be resolved.  As of 15 minutes ago they still hadn’t determined the cause of the outage.  Hopefully they have now…..  We continue to pester them for cause and resolution updates.

Upstream fiber provider troubles. Again.

= Upstream fiber provider troubles. Again. =
One of our upstream providers is having difficulties – again – this afternoon with the fiber circuits that feed us.  I’m currently on hold with them while they attempt to find the cause and update us with an ETR.
Apparently the issue is affecting many of their customers in California.

Upstream provider router failure

= Upstream provider router failure =
One of our upstream providers is currently diagnosing an apparent aggregation router failure.  This is affecting traffic for most subscribers.
We are awaiting a call back from the provider with an ETR.

Upstream provider emergency maintenance

The upstream provider experiencing the outage today has informed us that they will be performing emergency maintenance on the same circuit tonight from 10PM to 6AM tomorrow morning.
It is unclear if this will cause any further service interruptions at this time.
